Helpful Hint: If you're considering other courses, make sure you ask what up-to-date standard they are based on, what is included with the course, the track record and experience of the trainers, and how many PATs (Portable Appliance Testers) you will be made familiar with in the course, to be sure of an 'apples vs. apples' comparison.   PATs can offer quite different functionality depending on your needs, and exposure to only one PAT will not be enough.  You will be training for competence in workplace electrical safety so an experienced, quality, comprehensive approach to training and ongoing support should be high on your list of considerations.  Safety should not involve short-cuts.

Why Intertag's Course? We don't cut corners on safety and we offer a high quality course and information, fully matched to national Test and Tag course requirements under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), exceeding even the requirements of WorkCover NSW. As an ethical organisation, we are happy to tell you that our Test and Tag course is based on the AQTF national unit of competency UEENEEP008: 'Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord assemblies and cord-connected equipment', ensuring that the highest possible current national standard of training is available to you. If you're considering other courses, make sure you find out, before deciding, what standard other training is based on.  Check that it is not based on an expired standard, for example 30329QLD, or a lesser standard than the national AQTF standard.

Why is Intertag's Course important? you will be confident that your qualification is nationally recognised without the worry and cost of any future ugrade that might come from just a State-based qualification, you will have peace of mind that your Statement of Attainment is recognised around Australia. Intertag's Test and Tag course offers these 'future proof' national advantages and you can be confident that you won't just receive a single-State qualification. On top of that, we've trained thousands, so you'll receive outstanding practical and theoretical training from our experienced certified trainers that has led to us being the regular trainer-of-choice for many 'blue chip' operations and public sector organisations. You'll receive a comprehensive, high quality training manual, familiarity with six or more PATs, and as an Intertag Graduate you'll also be entitled to FREE access after the course to our support pages and continuing special offers, as well as discount access to relevant Australian Standards.

Intertag simply offers one of the most flexible and most useful Test and Tag courses, we think the best, at great value for money, backed by high quality and years of experience. With Intertag you'll get more, with no short-cuts!
